If I could meet my 18-year-old self, I’d remind him that knowing a future exists is sometimes enough to keep moving.

Men are valued for the results of their efforts, not the effort itself. They learn to hold back their voice, swallow their exhaustion, and hide their anxiety so they don’t burden anyone. Yet in their hearts, they need someone who will simply listen.
Feelings always work in their own way. Complex, unpredictable, always.
When talking about life partners, I know that not everyone is compatible with each other. But only recently did I realize just how incredibly complicated it is to define the word "compatibility."
Often, feelings first surface when someone meets our standards of handsome/beautiful. Then, it moves on to:
And a series of other questions.
The questions above are just a small example of how two human beings try to match themselves with each other. Complex. That's why I once wrote:
Falling in love is a happiness.
Falling in love with the right person is a fortune.
Falling in love with the right person who also loves you back is life's perfection.
So often, when we fall in love with someone, that person doesn't love us back. Or, we fall in love, but with the wrong person—someone who is bad for us. How fortunate it is when love is directed at the right person, and they love us back.
